More discovery. At your own pace.

Some of the best trips are measured in steps. Hiking a coastal trail, trekking to a mountain viewpoint or exploring a region on foot, by bike or by kayak: we plan active journeys around your interests, your fitness and how much challenge you want.

We have walked the trail ourselves.

Martin and Sharon trekked together to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal, at 4,130 metres. They know what makes a trek rewarding: good guides, realistic daily distances, time to acclimatize and the right gear. That first-hand experience shapes the advice you receive.

Matched to your level.

Tell us how active you are today and what you would like to achieve. We look at daily walking time, elevation gain, altitude, terrain and rest days, then suggest options that feel like an adventure, not an endurance test. Guided group departures, private guides and self-guided routes are all possible.

The practical details, handled with you.

We help coordinate transfers, local guides, permits, equipment rental and accommodation between stages. We also discuss the best season for your destination, entry requirements and travel insurance that covers your planned activities, including high-altitude trekking where needed. Activities depend on availability, weather and supplier conditions. Review the final quote for inclusions, optional costs and cancellation conditions before you commit. Custom multi-destination or international itineraries have a $400 CAD planning fee, confirmed before work begins.

You do not need a finished plan.

A destination, a type of activity or simply the wish to be more active on your next trip is enough to start. Personal advice is available in English or French, with bookings through House of Travel Montreal.
